SUSPENSION/TYRE/BODY LIFT

I have a question regarding this, im bout to buy a suzuki jimny 2001 model completely stock. I want to put a 80mm lift kit in + 30"x9.5"x15" tyres + 15"x7" sunraiser rims..........Will these scrape? If so..........what about if i also lift body another 2"? If i lift body is there anything else i need to modify, gear shift, 4wd shift, steering? Any help be apressiated....:cheer:

when i got mine it had a 3" susp lift & 30x9.5 tyres & they was fine with just a little arch trimmed

if you do a 2" body lift you will need longer brake hoses & you will need to do a slight adjustment on the transfer lever (thats all i had to do on mine anyway)

you'll also need to extend the steering column if you lift the body.

you will need hoses anyway with a lift above 50mm

ive not had to extended the steering colum on mine so it maybe a case of some you do & some you don't

2003 soft-top, just fitted 2" body lift and steering column was 25mm short and transfer lever wont quite go into 4wd low, Brake splitter block needs a new bracket, Everthing else ok, fuel filler ect.

Cheers for the replys................steering & shift wont be difficult as im a welder/ fabricator. Ile have to find some longer brake lines, how much longer do they need to be?

if you doing 3" susp & 2" body lift then +5" brake hoses will be needed
