Had a few days off last week, and the lad had finished his A levels, so we went camping for a couple of nights. Final test of the trailer before the frame gets fitted for the RTT, and a run down Horseshoe Lane (Bastard Lane - no trailer though!). Put off doing it last year, but having done it, was not as bad as expected.

Looks fun! I too take my trailer thru some bumpy tracks. Kept getting coffe powder mixed up with sriracha sauce on everything :)
Now my food and utensils and stuff is separated in boxes with tight lids on them, we learn as we go.

That's why I'm testing as I go - still need to raise it a little. Do like your trailer though!

Hope those new seats kept you from bouncing around on the rough stuff and proved comfy on a longer trip.

They certainly helped when sitting at an angle!

Just a thought on this subject. The hitch on me101's Jimny appears to be a standard 50mm and I wondered if anyone has had problems with the limited movement of this type of hitch and has thought about or even changed to a NATO style hitch or one of specialised ones from Australia?

I can confirm, it is just a standard tow ball. I had given thought to the other type, but for the lanes I take it on, no issues (so far!).
