Tyre size question was created by Williams
My dad's Gen3 Jimny is running 205/70/15 tyres and I want to swap my Gen4 LCV 195/80/15 onto his, will my tyres fit his standard wheels.

Pic of his wheels attached.

Many thanks

Yes it will be fine.

The percentage difference is within the normal tolerance for tyres anyway so you will not notice it

Sorry Martin one more question. I'm planning on putting BF Goodrich AT 215 75 15 on my standard LCV steel wheels that it comes with., I just wanted to confirm these will fit on the wheels okay? Thanks in advance

Out of interest, are the 195/80R15 tyres marked as such, or are they simply 195R15?  Traditionally in car tyre markings, no aspect ratio is quoted for 80% (strictly speaking, 82% is a "normal" radial tyre, but you'd be pushed to tell the difference).

My first car had 125R12 tyres!

BFG 215/75R15 are a popular fitment to the new Jimnys, so yes no problem at all.  Maxxis Wormdrive in 215/75/r15 is the other popular fitment.

This site tiresize.com/tyre-size-calculator/ has a nice feature it lets you put in two tyre sizes and tells you the difference in size.  Going from 195/80 to 215/75 has an increase of 1.5% on the circumference, so you will not notice the difference in speedo or gearing.
