Gen 4 wheel arch inner lining was created by Goldfish
Hi there,
Can someone help to point to the direction if the wheel arch inner lining is available and the cost to fitting them?
THank you
Ben

You will be referring to the rear wheel arches which do not have liners
The rear liners are a product offered in Russia. I have seen a few offered in this country. Google Jimny rear wheel arch liners

Sorry Martin, Goldfish didn't specify front or back and neither did I.
I will reiterate, the Gen.4 has a plastic inner wing liner fitted to the front but not the back.

I got mine (via eBay) from the Russian club that Martin linked, no problems with shipping.
Still undecided if they're a *good thing* or not - is the added protection necessary, or are they going to promote rust by trapping moisture?

Having been driven on Russian roads, I can understand that a plastic inner lining may be an idea that appeals to a Russian driver. There are still a lot of dirt roads and even the sealed ones are breaking up so the inner wings are constantly pounded with stones and mud, such that a hard metal surface coated with an underseal is likely to suffer and die quite quickly. The resilient nature of the PVC may be capable of shrugging this form of attack off.
Either way the Russians may believe it works.
Yesterday I pressure washed under Tonka and there was no sign of damage, but I do not drive on tracks anymore and although our roads are in a poor state of repair, they do not compare with Russian ones.
