Hi all,
Gen 4 has a great "rain gutter" all around the roof ..
On the Gen 3 there is nothing, so,.. when it is raining and and you open the door all the water ends up inside on the floor. We end up with soggy smelly carpet.. I'm in the Philippines so lets add humidity to this equation and in the end it all stinks.!
Has anyone seen/come-up-with or found some way to remedy this...
I would be SOOOOO... greatful..?

We have plenty of rain here too but it's much cooler so having the heating on helps to dry it up. I aren't aware of any off the shelf solutions beyond carrying out a few strategically placed bags of silica gel crystals like you get in packaging to absorb the moisture, dry rice will work too.

Ultimate solution is to remove the carpets and leave the floor bare or cover with rubber or plastic matting.

An alternative option might be - source an extruded and flexible 'U' shaped rubber channel/seal plus some outdoors type double-sided sticky tape - and apply to the bodyshell above the doors? I'd wager that there's an appropriate channel that could be re-purposed to suit your application.

The first thing I do when I start any Suzuki project is rip the carpets out and throw them away! :laugh:

Same problem if you have a caravan, so they make a stick on rain channel in various lenghts.

Google Search for:-
Fiamma Drip Stop Gutter Door Rain Deflector 
Its expanding Bod1050's suggestion into a pre made product.

Hi all,
Well being as an ex landrover maniac (there are no Rovers here in the Philippines) removing carpets etc was considered. However for once I have a magic little 4X4 run around that I hoped could stay as is an keep me dry and not have to worry about wet smelly insides..! :D
Thanks all for suggestions, I am going to look into the Fiamma Drip Stop solution..
