I could go out buy a bmw 525,,, change seats exhaust stick some M5 badges on it but don't mean it is

"JLX+" = alloys, fake leather on top of "JLX" spec
the rear spoiler, sidesteps, and tints are after-market additions

do I tell my insurance co, take the mods off, or hope for the best
as "rear spoiler, sidesteps, and tints" are all mods and in the event of a claim .... if they haven't been declared ... could void your insurance.
normal insurance companies take the piss, even upping your premiums for tints and tow-bars.
specialist insurance companies appear to reduce the premiums for having mods
strange but true in my case with Adrian Flux
