Have a think and let us know how much you have spent with mods etc on your jimny! Be interested to know what I may be spending..(without the wife knowing!!!) :whistle:

I got my jimny for £1300 roughly and sent around £2000 (transferbox and tyres around a £1000) on it most possibly more I don't want to add it up and ive made a lot my self so a lot of time to but that's half the fun

Really? If I calculated it the misses would but the roof. I would hate to know what I could own for the same money but hey I do love it!

Best offer we got on the Jim on ebay was £1000.
Decided as a mint S reg 42k miles we would spend a bit and have some fun.
Parts £1600 (3"lift, [more like 4 1/2], protection, towbar, front recovery points, spacers, chickenbox etc)
Tyres £600
Mechanic labour £1k

So £3.2k
But still want diff lock and snorkel if the Mrs will let me(its her motor!), another £500 to go

Less than £4k, much more fun than the hang gliding which cost me 3 times as much!

Jimny = £600 + £200 fuel to go from cornwall to preston to pick it up in the transit
Tyres= £500
4" ORA springs, brakelines, spring retainers, rough country shocks= £550
15×7j wheels £60
30mtrs 2" blueband seamless tube for the cage and trayback= £300
Sheet of 2mm mild steel= £25
Sheet of 5083 grade ali tread plate for the tray= £320
LED tail lights= £55
Crawler box from Redacted to compensate for the tyre size= £600

Still need loads of stuff and iv probably missed stuff aswell :ohmy:
All that to get if muddy and cold but its fun
