Hey Guys

Not sure if we are going to get snow this year but wondering what you guys thoughts are on tyres..

Are snow tyres the same as off road tyres.???

I will be doing mostly road driving in Jimny but will do a bit of green laning (more I'm sure as I mod up the jeep) so with that in mind what do you guys recommend please? I dont mind having a normal road wheels and a seperate set for winter/green laning.

Thanks again

Well there is a few types....

Road Tyres - Self explanery
Winter Tyres - Same as road tyres but with slightly deeper tread and a rubber compound that is designed to remain grippy at low temps
All-Terrains - Road tyres with aggressive tread patterns allowing for better grip in shallow mus and difficult terrain
Mud-Terrains - Basicly tyres with massive knobbly bits on them designed to paddle through deep mud etc

A/Ts sound like your best choice to me
