I'm just about to buy a Jimny, so maybe when I get it the answer will be obvious........but how do you guys secure tools when offroading? OK so probably in a box but how do you secure it to stop it flying about? I've seen some pics with roof rack and little boxs....anyone done anything like that?

Google Jimnys and Load Liners. Lots of examples of storage to suit all requirements!

I got a plastic box with lid from pound land or some such shop, just fits in the tiny boot prob takes up a third of the width and fits a reasonable amount in it couple of tow straps shackles saw cable ties wd40 knife etc etc and if you lean the back seats back it wedges against the door, between the box and seats I keep a small spade and loppers ;)

I keep meaning to get some rubber clamps to mount the spade to the inside of the back door in the recess but never get round to it.when I finaly do ill post pics.
