Hi all, I'm pretty much decided to get an jimny, they do look fun, just a couple of dullish insurance questions! I'm thinking buying an unmodded jimny and just upgrading the tyres, reason being I wont get to off road it much and I wanted to keep the costs down and insurance low as poss. Then again looking at the site I am kinda tempted to get a cheaper modded jimny, how do you guys find insurance for modded cars? any specialist insurance that keeps it down? I'm in London so just normal insurance is pretty high!

Im with the NFU

now that i'm 21 its dropped from 1k
to about £800
but thats fully comp on my own policy

I know 800 is probably alot more than the rest of you are paying, but at my age
any other normal car would have been 4 times the price
