If its a Japanese Jimny then, from what I understand, the import duties into Brazil would be very high.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

I nicked this from the FT site:

Under the so-called Inovar-Auto programme, which comes into force in January and runs until 2017, importers can sell 4,800 vehicles yearly under the former tax regime but the remainder will be taxed at the new higher IPI rate of up to 55 per cent.

Combined with the existing 35 per cent import tax and a series of other onerous duties in Brazil, imported cars will now be taxed at up to 340 per cent, according to Abeiva, Brazil’s auto import association.

However, foreign companies that move some of their production onshore, as well as invest in local research and training and meet strict environmental targets, will be exempt from the higher IPI rate.

Hi guys,

I have made some photos of the 4work version during a Suzuki marketing event. You can see the natural rubber interior instead of carpet and the washable vinylic roof. This one have bigger tires, front and rear lockers, among other things. Unstoppable little beast.

cheers

How cool is a stripped Jimny. Simple, light, small, perfect.

it does look good and your right about the snorkel but with all the rubber on the inside as good an idea as it is it will make the jimny rust quicker

I think a rubber interior is a great idea. After 1 month my carpets are looking pretty trashed and it hasn't even been muddy.

I really like the look of the 4sport version, what are the chances of getting the bumpers and wheel arches outside of Brazil?
