right had a min to try n get the 2" front springs on (got a 2 year old and a 4 year old mins are rare) removedlower shock bolts jacked up but arb needs to come off, undone both ends untill the bit behind the arb that the nut goes onto inbetween the droplink and the arb started spinning.didt know what to do next then i started thinking is it going to undo and fly off with the tension or something so left it and im now after some info ther must be a proper way to do it.thanks.

I think you must be on about the ball joint thread that connects the Anti Roll Bar to the axle casing? If this is the bit that your on about and it is spinning it is worth trying to push the ARB ball joint tighter into the axle casing as it is a taper fit usually. Sometime can be done with a car jack between something and the back of the joint, I'm only going on what I've done on my disco when I have had a similar problem.

not sure pal, its at the bottom of the drop link there is a thread from the link that goes into the arb with a nut on the end.

put some mole grips on the othe side of the arb and do it up and then undo the brackets that hold it to the cassis instead much easyer that way if not some times there is an allen key bolt in the end of the tread or 2 flats on the other side so a 17mm spanner can hold it
