New Member From Cannock, Staffordshire! was created by SteBurns
After years of owning fast cars I decided to buy myself a Jimny. I'm still not sure why but I've always liked them! It's a '51 plate JLX that looks like it has done some off-roading in the past, the mileage is relatively low at 55k miles. It's been lifted (rubber spacers in the suspension!?) and has 2 inch hubcentric spacers. Most of the interior has been removed by the previous owner, all I've done is fitted a modern stereo and a musical horn!
I've got lots of questions to ask, hope you guys make me feel welcome!

hi, and welcome,i too have done the fast car thing,japs/tvr/ etc etc.
i realised a few years ago that you cant go fast anymore (speed cameras) and badly maintained roads.
i am now having more fun off roading than i ever did in the fast cars.you will enjoy this forum plenty of great guys with lots of knowledge.
keep tight hold of your credit card,it becomes addictive.

Hi,
I'm based near Wolves, so could see you around if you are ever over this way!
Plenty of pay and play day sites around here, especially near Stafford.
Darth on here is another local Jimny'er

I didn't originally buy it with the intentions of off-roading, but I'd like to give it a go. I've done plenty of trackdays in fast cars so maybe I could catch the off-roading bug too! I will start looking out for club members from here, and I'll take a look at the BigJimny shop as well. I still have a Type-R by the way, just for those days that I want to go for a blast.
