looks good tryed doing my fronts last night couldt undo the top nut it turns but so dose the bit underneath,any advice going to have another go soon.o and i dont have a grinder.thanks.

Hi nicho sorry for late reply i work shifts for my sins,easiest way i found was just to grind the top nut straight off the shock ,no messing about.where abouts are you in the country mate

clitheroe lancs, thats what i was thinking i might have to do,i dont have front shocks yet i was going to get shock spacers but now thinking about getting sum shocks inseted and grinding them off.thought ther might be some were to put a spanner under the top shock bolt as well as the top.

ahh a fair way from me was gonna say you could borrow me grinder lol,
ahh yeah you dont wanna be grinding them off if youve got no replacments,can you not get a pair of grips underneath the shock mount and stop the rod turning ?

on top or the shock there shouls be a flat edge above the nut to get some mole grips on also aply some heat if you can or go to a plum center and get some pipe freeze that might do the trick

what do the front springs look like ? is there much bow in the spring due to the axle tilting ? could you post a pic ? i'm looking at changing my suspension as its a bit tired and would just like to see how yours looks. cheers
