no dont belive it, tried recovering my dads defender in my jimny couldnt even move it!!! a 1tonne vehicle is never gonna recover a 2 tonne vehicle! also tried recovering a stuck transit van which didnt happen either, jimny = shite recovery trucks as they dont weigh enough.

Try one of these : ARB715 as recovery gear !
33.000 lb (15000 kg.) for around 75£ (88 €).
Snatch Straps
Specifically designed to stretch under load for maximum performance, an ARB snatch strap is a very effective method of extracting a bogged or immobilised 4WD when a second vehicle is present.
How it works
The elasticity in a snatch strap is what makes it such an essential piece of recovery gear. The kinetic energy generated by the elasticity aids with the recovery itself, while at the same time reducing the likelihood of vehicle damage.

Here's a short video we did with a friend of mine. Just a quick "crawling" session before we headed home from that place, where we were mainly to shoot some RC monster truck videos.
33's, jimnybits 3" lift, 6.5 samurai t-box. I'm driving in 2nd and 3rd gears in the video. That hillside is in about 45 degree angle, but of course looks very easy in the video!
Maybe I should make some better Jimny videos in the future...
