The only bit of trimming I had to do with 235s and 3" lift was the back corner of the front arches. It was catching on lock. Havnt trimmed anything else and it is fine. I have only got nexen mt though, not special tracks would the more aggressive tread pattern might make a difference, bigger chunks on the outer edges of the tyres might catch.

Measured 50mm all the around the arches to cut off and then used the jigsaw on them, took 60mm from the actual metal arch which is behind, all smoothed off and painted after, will be looking at some kind of mud guards or rubber matting to go inside the arch to protect mud from spraying up.

Nice new snorkel, found it quite easy, all I can say is there's not much room for mistakes, so take your time, measure twice cut once! First time doing one, but quite pleased! :P

Now all you need to do is point the snorkel head backwards ;)

Is it easy to cut with a jigsaw? Does it destroy the paint?!

Tis easier I must say than a grinder! Get more of a smoother edge.

And I will turn my snorkel around tomorrow then, I like the roar from it ;) the paintwork doesn't get ruined at all.
