17/06/09 - Mavericks Jimny - UPDATED

Maverick has sent in some pictures of his nicely modified Jimny.

The current specification is:

 

a) 54 plate Suzuki Jimny - paid just £2,000 off eBay 2yrs ago

b) It came with slight body damage (it was not me!) Cat "C" Insurance write-off

c) Has a Rob Storr 5:1 SJ413 Rock Lobster box, with a 2low kit

d) Bits4Vits 2" Spring Spacers currently with standard springs

e) Wheels are 16" GV Rims with Bronco 205/16 Diamond Backs

f) Inner arches removed and mudguards/flares cut back to allow more articulation

g) CB Maycom EM-27 Radio fitted with Roof (above interior light) Antennae

h) Rear Seats removed, as are carpets - after getting delayed in a deep puddle!

i) Front and Rear Rob Storr Panhards fitted

j) CD/Radio fitted to block out Rock Lobster whine.

k) Rob Storr extra-strong Transfer Case Bucket surround fitted.

l) Spare Wheel removed from Back Door - goes inside when offroading - rear door to have Hi Lift fitted there

m) Front ex-Kap Suzuki metal front bumper (thanks Adam Lantos) to be fitted over Christmas'08

o) WARM M8000 Winch with Dynema Rope to fitted to front over Christmas'08

p) Bits4Vits Transfer Case breather kit to fitted over Christmas'08

q) Large (lorry style) interior light fitted close to rear door - now can see in rear cabin at night!

Brett has now fitted a TJM Snorkle   and Bits4Vits wheel spacers all round. He also has a whole list of work planned for the Christmas period....
