What's that about, then?

Do you know something we don't?
Do they snap/bend or what?

just be careful for a few hours ...

I'd take some rachet strops/straps - just in case you need to strop/strap the axles in place!!

Oh Dear! - Maverick - you know Rob posts on here too now don't you?

Ladies and Gentleman - take your seats for Round 2!

Seconds out DING DING!!!!!!

Perhaps not on Adams thread though eh?

In an effort to explain what this is all about - Rob Butler the owner of ORA posted this as a sticky on the Shropshire Suzuki forum. I hope he does not mind me pasting it here but the issue has been raised here so it is only right the good people of BigJimn.com benefit from it to I think! It is in his own words thus I am not showing bias in either way.

As many of you are probably already aware, a long while ago we had a re-call on our Jimny rear trailing arms manufactured between 1/7/08 and 1/1/10

We are fairly confident that we have contacted pretty much all of the customers that have had these arms, and they have all been issued with the revised design.

However we would like to put this to bed once and for all, so if you have or know anyone who has a set of "early type" O.R.A radius arms... could you please get in contact with us so we get the last few sets of replacements issued.

Kind regards

isn't he just practising good customer care by recalling the potentially faulty ones?
why would he now sell an item if he didn't believe they were up to the job

to be certain give him a ring - he is a nice guy and has chatted to me in the past
for quite some time

I would buy the latest ORA arms - in fact I'd buy Rob's 4.5" lift kit which includes his arms if I could afford to.

Rob is currently offering a Lifetime guarentee on his latest arms.

This is starting to take over Adams thread about his car though - perhaps it should be discussed on a thread of it's own if there is to be much discussion on the subject - but that is for the moderators to decide.

I just added my 2 penneth worth so people knew what was being spoken about!
