I have moments like that all the time, especially at work! Need to get my jimny out again, but need/want more parts first.

you say old ecu but new locks are you using a new ignition or your old ignition ???
the ignition with chipped key is coded to the imobilizer unit & ecu so you have to either use the whole lot from your original jimny or the whole lot from the new shell if you got it all with it otherwise it will not run

Yeah got it all but new ecu wires in different so guess ill be swapping all locks and code ring over now ha
