Cheers guys...spare a thought for me cold under my jimny on christmas day hahaha

Jimmy shall go to the ball.

Hopefully the bigjimny meet in 2012 wont be until march time then i can have a proper low ratio box in it for some mud fun!

Going to use an ORA mounting kit with speedo adapter etc but then use some spare 3mm sheet steel and weld it to the mounts making my own bucket like what rockwatt makes.

Saves any faffing with speedo mounting as i have loads of 3mm steel spare so not that much work to add a few bits to create a bash guard protecting the 5.1 transfer box which would cost alot to replace.

Once iv collected the transfer box i will have a samurai transfer box spare to sell too

No its a samurai box (same as 413)

Not sure on price yet as it depends if ill need the flanges for the new one or not but it wont be much....probably 20 without flanges or 30 with flanges if i dont need them

i would not make the transfer box gaurd out of 3mm it will deffo not be strong enough if it takes a bash on a rock. you need at least 5 to 6mm in my opinion

why not just get the mounting kit with speedo adaptor from rockwatt as that has the gaurd built in ready to fit

its only going to be a last resort protection welded to the ora mounts and triangulated so will be very strong.

i wanted a rockwatt mounting but he does not supply a speedo adapter etc which is the reason i will have to go for ora mounts but if he did supply speedo adapter id buy his mounting set in a heartbeat
