Quick quick!!!!! Don't forget next weekend!
I shall be welding on my diff guards next Saturday and painting up my gussets, trusses and axles, so
I hope its a dry weekend.
This weekend I'm hoping to make up a tiny weeny backbox to hide tight up behind my bumper, just want to let everyone know when i'm about
Good luck with the clutch change

Well won a cb radio (midland alan 48) with pa function hahaha so now need to order ariel and mount and pa speaker for it.
Found the speaker no worries but im not sure on rest
Im thinking the side mount that bolts to the body? And a mini springer
Will this setup be okay and how do you 'tune' them in

Have a look on Thunderpole's website and have a read up on ground planes, swr tuning and get one of their mini orbiter aerials and whatever mount you want which comes with a fair amount of lead.
If you think the lead might be too short, buy an extension at the same time to save on postage as they are only a couple of quid.
Buy an swr meter and lead too to tune the aerial.
To tune it you adjust it on the grub screw on the aerial mount and if still too long cut the aerial down with a hacksaw.

Im getting measurements tomorrow pal
The arches are from ebay....landrover extended arches (i dont like them and were all i could use at the time)
I run 16" wheels so they wont be the same as mine as your running 15" wheels.
How wide are your wheels?
Your best bet would be a strip of rubber around standard arches. Thats what ill be doing soon.
