Sorry forgot,
I have been looking at lift kits..... obviously I havnt even looked under my jimny yet ( yes yes I bought it without doing so....it was wet lol ) you mention a body lift and a spring lift.
I tohught they ran on leaf springs? Also, to do a 2" lift do you need to do both at once?
Sorry for being such a dafty, as I said before all Ive ever done is fast and family cars.... absolutely clueless in the 4x4 world. My landy with no chassis left is the extent of my knowlege.
Bert

EDIT:- I always bloody forget something.....
how did you attach the snorkel to the pillar?

ram air works well but isnt needed and runs very well.
as for attaching it i just used drainpipe mounts with the size being perfect match.

the are springs not leafs on the jimny and i have done two seperate lifts one two inch body one two inch spring which will be increasing by another inch soon :) you can do either or both i wanted arch gap ha

dont worry you will get used to the prper ways as i did. the guys on here are great people always helpfull. best site iv known.

and also forgot if snorkel faces forward it takes in water while driving where as a cars intake goes upwards a snorkel goes down so water would be taken in.

the sticker was borrowed from a friend ha

another point of it facing backwards is that being petrol and having a llamba scensor the e c u, is the engines working all the time for better performance and forcing air into snorkle consistly giving a false reading mine was going throught some amount of fuel and smelling as if being over fuelled running better on colder days , took it to garage thinking air blockage to be told it was the snorkle causing the problem
hope i ve put this over the right way :) :)

Ive got a k&n filter on the top of the snorkle which stops any problems with water entering the snorkle (for some reason it is on the left and a pipe crosses the front of the radiator and up into the air box where there is a second filter - its made out of rollbar tube with some rubber hoses each side of the radiator to allow access

the best sign for the job hahaha reason my sorkel hasn't got a k n N is that its routed through the airbox as it was simple to install this way everything seemed to be perfect sizing which is not usually the case

3" springs
3" shocks
shock repositioners
