Im just up the road in Preston, Birkenhead has loads of scrap yards! Im going to save and get the flared arches as i need the clearance for my big tyres, im also after rear arches as my old ones are realy tatty, im currently trying to tart up my jimny after selling it 12month ago and buying it back after it having alot of bad mods and battle scars. The previous has fitted narrow springs inside the +3' springs to compensate for the weight of a big winch, this is dangerous!

Well..... today was a good day
First coat on wheels,
Took brake calipers off and cleaned/copper slipped them since one was squeeking a little
First coat calipers/hubs
went next door......went to pub
Came home, 2nd coat on wheels
suppertime
2nd coat on calipers tomorrow..... not dry enough yet - stole dads gas heater for workshop for wheels lol - bloody thing, I tried and tried to start it.....dad came out, one press and BANG- we have heat lol
Heres some early pics....ruff but first coat
Also found out what my exhaust rattle was...heat shield is off at one side - is this essential or can I rip it off ?
PICS!
Ohhh..... really want under her now ( no jokes please lol )
Want to strip the lot and paint it all
