Do you reckon I could get away with just using glue (Karosserilim) to add my floor in the UK - England? Im thinking will that pass the english MOT?

As far as I am aware it should be welded if it was originally?

Here In Norway when the car body is not structural when the car has a frame, this will not even be checked unless there is alot of rust in the body mounts or seat belt or seat mounts.
I know severe rust will pass the Norwegian MOT as long as its sharp edges cannot hurt a pedestrian or occupant of the car, or away from the places i mentioned.
But how can they see if it is badly welded or well done glued?

I would say glue it in if you have rear seats removed
A thick coat of paint and nothing will be said at mot
Original floor is only spot welded then seam sealed

Sorry for resurrecting old thread.
I'm prepping my Jimny for floor rust repair. Is rear floor welded at sides to wheel arches? OP seems to just sealed it only.

It's spot welded around the perimeter and also to the cross braces I believe. As said above if it's not ever having seats in, then an automotive glue might suffice but if you are having seats, weld it in.
