Its looking good. It certainly started out with a lot of bling on board.

Whats next on your list to do with it (and whats your other car - I like the VW Synchro behind you in one picture)

I will pinch the pictures and set up page on the website for your Jimny

No major plans really. Use it daily so all i'm really after doing is some extra lighting(fancy one of those roof pods), cb, beefier recovery points without butchering the bumpers, waxoyl and smoothrite to protect the underside and probably paint the wheels black.

Immediate plans are service, cambelt, dreaded kingpins and chocolate cv replacement!

My other car is a one previous owner 205 rallye i'm doing a bit of a mini resto on:

The syncro is really cool, comes with lockers as standard and results in plenty of wheel waving off road. Really impressed me how well it gets on.

Will update about the jimny as and when even if its just snaps of more fun!!

They all look nice. I like the Rallye special editions of all the Peugeots that they did this special edition of.

Looks like you do everything you can in the Jimny in it's current guise and enjoy it!!!

With respect tot he tow joints, the nearside one could be easily beefed up with a plate on the chassis covering over the tube on the chassis and then down onto the tow point keeping to it's original shape. Well that's what I'm planning with mine via our Club's professional welder soon. I'll pop pictures of it on this site in a month or so.

The off side is a bit trickier due tot he steering boc being bolted to the chassis near to the towing point and the chassis tube.

I had a similiar idea for recovery points having seen these item.rakuten.co.jp/apio/3070_20/ , i was going to get a local fabrication firm to knock them up for me but after getting some ideas off others i'm going to cut 2 holes in black placcy trim at the bottom of the bumper for access to the chassis and have a 1/2"thread put in so i can have 2 heavy duty eyes screwed in for off road and remove them the rest of the time. My main concerns are they need to be easily accessible, strong and don't detract from the standard look(will get a spare insert for resale).

Love using the Jimny as it was intended, i'll try most things in it but try to have a little mechanical sympathy. Although i did forget that when i was trying to pull a very stuck jimny out with a bit too much enthusiasm!!

If i can find some MT's the same size as the AT's i'd happy as a pig in poop, the at's do ok but muds would make a big difference.

What ize are your AT's?

Fitting MT's is the start of a slide on a slippery slope of modification and the bug really starts to bite hard. You say about getting MT's now, then you'll be on the phone ordering a spring lift and before you know it you'll have a challenge spec Jimny on your drive!!!

Or is it the case that not quite everyone is the same as me???
