Theres a blank inside the scoop held on by a few screws.
I suppose you could remove the blank but not if your into offroading and water splashes :evil:

Trouble is there is no way an air flow can be passed from it to the air intake pipe but it might be useful to cool the engine down if you burn along at 100mph. :laugh: :laugh:
