Have a read through this thread

www.bigjimny.com/index.php/forum/7-jimny...1978-tyre-size#93064

Might be something helpfull there. I stuck with standard size because I didnt want to mess with gearing etc
Also I read somewhere that if you put tyres 3% (I think it is) larger than stock it can void the warranty so you might just want to ask your dealer about that.

Whenever this issue comes up I often wonder why Suzuki didn't design and leave more clearance. They must know there are a lot of tyres that could be used if only they would clear but more than that, why do they have more of a a car-like clearance than other 4x4s???

Just means more trimming when the time comes

In reality though it should come with a tyre size like 215 75 because they market it as an offroad vehicle.

And with more anchor points! The new Jimnys have a hoop welded to the chassis at the front i'll try to get a picture of it, it looks pretty sturdy so would love to know what it holds up like.
