Welcome to this great forum Jack and you are one lucky guy to have such a cool truck at your age as well as having a few extras. Got to say this is an excellent first vehicle as it's certainly no rocket ship but you will be perfectly happy driving it at legal speeds as it is just so much fun. I for one am quite content bumbling along at 50-55 mph (never thought I'd see that day) enjoy it and remember post some pics to update us on the progress. Bet you don't miss the Scottish weather, you won't remember that though!

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

One things for sure I can't wait to get her muddy. I finish finals / exams in 2 / 3 months, but from then onwards I have a free 3 months to spend. Hopefully I will get some extra hours at work to pay for my flying lessons as well as some mods and touch ups for the Jimny. ;)

Also I may have confused some of you with my image. The bottom is how it is just now, no black wheels, no cut arches / bumper, no tint. The top was done in photoshop and is what I want her to look like after I finish my exams :)

Some of you commented how clean it looked, the first / previous owner only put 56,000km on it which is great for a 7 year old car! But they did neglect it in terms of never taking her out for a mud bath. :(

Also, as I said previously I have purchased a 2" suspension lift. Here it is before installation!

- Jimny front Ultra King raise spring.
- Jimnt Ultra King rear raise coil spring.
- Jimny front raise gas shocks.
- Jimny rear raise shock absorbers.

*copied from reciept* total: $481.50 inc GST. :) Was on sale at the time on ebay.

With this gear, can i expect a result roughly similar to this members Jimny? www.bigjimny.com/index.php/forum/8-my-ji...imitstart=0&start=12 (Look about 3/4 down the page). :)

Cheers guys!
