Certainly have
The system I'm using is called RVi2 www.towtal.co.uk/motorhome-a-frames/rvi-brake/
Brilliant bit of kit and easy to set up, does away with the overrun system that is likely to be outlawed after next year.

A trailer must be braked if over 750k
A jimny curb is 1030kg
How have you hooked you brakes up?
This is the reason you see many motor homes pulling Toyota IQ's as they weigh next to nothing

It doesn't rely on the servo, when setting up the kit pumps the pedal a few times to bleed it. There is enough strength in the mechanism to work the brakes without servo assistance.
The cigarette lighter is permanently live on mine so doesn't need to have the ignition on and the current drain is tiny.

The gear box will turn the lay shaft but not the input shaft on the clutch end
Not towing it is some thing to do with the t box and it being 4wd but if its been tryed and tested by othere with no problem then its up to the owner
