Well I managed to get the first night away to test the overland Jimny down in a local stone quarry..

Everything went a treat with the only problem being the rear tyres catching on the arches. Not due to the roof tent but the entire contents of the house being crammed in the back. time to trim out the arches or life the beast 1.5"
Not sure which it will be yet but its hacksaw or spring compressors..

A few pics for your enjoyment, hard to believe we are not in the Outback somewhere when we really are in west yorks..

So after a good test with the Jim I face the dilemma of a lift or Arch chopping. The tyres rub on the top on the rear wheel arch when its loaded with all the camping accessories..

I am thinking of the following lift kit which seems to receive decent reviews:-

I have a couple questions if anyone can answer

1... Do you need Longer brake hoses etc?

2... Does it stiffen the suspension as well as lift it?

Isn't that a body lift? But as long as you don't go for a 3 inch lift kit you won't need brake lines with 2 inch its not required but advised

Personally if you have the money I would tho for a +2 inch spring and shock lift kit
