I got one of those too - ket me know how you end up fitting it.I got the roof bars too, not bad for £12 but will be useless if they hit a twig on a lane!

Thinking of fabbing some mounting brackets and using some u-bolts on mine.

Was thinking of the same useing the brackets that form one part of the roof bar clamp
