let me know how much the nose dips buy i may get one iv got the space im just thinking of the waight and the one you just got is cheeper they the 8000lb iv been looking at

It may only dip half inch or so but depends how good your springs are when i took my winch off to overhall it the front didnt go up that much

They look pretty much the same, the version I have is slightly newer however and has fins on the left side. A quick phone pic below with keys to help guage the size.

I sat it on the front of the car earlier when sizing everything up and didnt notice much of a drop I will however have a measure up and see how much it drops once on there.

Winch is now all fitted in place, I just need to wire it all up once I decide where to mount the control box, there is plenty of space above the winch so I can just use the cable supplied or stick with my original plan and relocating it under the bonnet but having to buy adequate cable to connect it all up. :unsure:
