What winch did you get ?

Tom I went for a winch-it yeti 12500lb in the end, it's a bit of a budget option but I have heard good feedback from a few local people using the 13000lb version and this has a slightly higher HP motor and faster line speed than that. It should be fine for what I need it for anyway.

I will post some more details when I get a chance.

LOL :laugh: I checked the dimentions and it is actually about the same size as a few of the 9000lb winches I found, not sure about the weight however seeing as i dont plan on having a full winch bumper i hope it will be ok. Fingers crossed . I think with alot of these cheaper winches they just change the gearing to make it 12500lb etc,

darthloachie I had been thinking about the winchmax following your previous posts on other topics but the winch-it at 12500lb has a faster pull speed so thought I would give it a try.

looking at the yeti winch on the winch-it website looks to be basically the same winch but black instead of orange
