No idea, just started making a horrible noise, and i lost all drive to the front wheels.

guess its age, milage? its done 90k miles

I think you might have just been unlucky. Or perhaps the CV's were dry of grease from age. The CV's have not done many miles as when not in 4wd they just sit there unused.

Grease up the new one when you get it and the other side when you can. Grease up the kingpins while you have it apart, given the water you've sat in.

Don't let it stop you having fun though. Just a bit of tlc.

Won't lie, am mega jealous! Had hardly any in the south east, not even had a chance to stick my jimny in 4wd yet!

Quick question for you if you don't mind, How does you spare wheel fit to the boot? Is it with the standard spare wheel holder? Ive got a second hand set of wheels coming and watch to ditch the standard suzuki spare wheel cover.
