The spare fitted fine, clears everything easily, its 15x7 as well, but its -13 offset. I've actually got to make up something to extend the rubber bumps on the door so that they can touch the wheel as it has a little bit of movement that I dont feel comfortable with.

I haven't needed to because the auto compensates, but I found a bit lack of power when cruising on the freeway so I'm still contemplating gearing. Given the shorter ratios for a manual, I would probs recommend you plan for gearing, if you get the 235s and find that you can live with less power then its a bonus. I think most have said that its the low range crawling that is affected the most, having to slip the clutch alot

Great!

I only have two options of wheels locally if i'm gonna mount 235s:

15x8 -13 and 15x8 -25

Any experience with that? Thanks

Thanks Sandez!

With the offset on your wheels how far away from the guards are your tyres?
I wanted to put some 235/75/15 muddies on 15x7 rims but wasnt sure what offset i should get the wheels at to make the tyres just at the guards or slightly over.

Thanks,

HiJim

Sorry mate, can't help you out there, tho -13 8" shouldn't stick out any further than the 7" so it should fit fine. If you go for the -25 you might have issues with it scrubbing on the rears as it sticks out further, see my pics on first page here to see how close it is already, but I wasn't checking on that. Others might have already done it without issues so it might by worthwhile starting a thread on it. After all, an extra 12 would make it more stable again.

I've gone for -13 and they fit in perfectly and tuck up nicely without having to cut anything cept the front bumper, with -25 as I mentioned above, you might need to trim the inside of the lip to prevent any scraping, but you might want to start a thread to find out if others have done it and found any issues
