Sandez's Jimny from Aus was created by Sandez
Hi Guys,

Thought I would finally share my Jimny, my second one.

Its a 2007 model Automatic with 80k on the clock. Have only had it for a month. There hasnt been any major mods done yet, but will be shortly once JB gets some more stock. The list is big enough and still growing. The plan is to turn the beast into a nice go anywhere touring vehicle for myself, but still a daily driver to and from work.

Current mods:
[strike]205/75/15 Toyo A/T tyres[/strike] 235/75/15 Federal Couragia 15" -13 Offset Black steel rims
GME TX 3100 UHF Radio - Window aerial (To be replaced in the near future)
Tinting
Rear seats removed and [strike]flat tray installed[/strike] cargo drawers
Steering dampener
4x 3UP 10w LED Spotlights ( Build guide here )
Adjustable panhard rods
3" RoughCountry Lift kit
Extended brake lines
iPad mount with OBDII connection

Near future mods:
Castor correction bushes
Front and rear recovery points
Diff, Trans and Gearbox breathers

Future mods:
2" Exhaust with extractors
Lockright Rear locker
Sway bar disconnect
Engine bay mounted air compressor

So enough talk, here are the pics.

In its current up-to-date state 6-May-12

Swapping over from another Jimny is fun. I swapped all my mods from my 2001 Jimny to my 2006 about 15 months ago.

How does your cooling system cope during summer with those spot lights blocking air flow?

Havent had any issues with cooling. Could be because the air can still get through the big vent in the bumper, if I had a bullbar I might be running into trouble.

Well Ive ordered the 3" RC Lift, adjustable panhards, castor bushes, brake lines, diff/trans/gearbox breathers, OBDII connector and I have begun construction of the rear drawers. It should all come together nice and quick and to a stage where I am happy with it and can start doing some serious weekenders.

Ill be sure to take plenty of pics to keep you all happy

Be very interested in how you do the draws as once I get one I'm planning something similar.

The end result of the drawers should be something similar to this. The whole system is going to be made out of wood because I have most of it lying around, not using the aluminum framing and joins as I designed in the pictures, but the layout is going to be the same nevertheless

It has a small pocket that I can reach from the drivers seat (seen in pic 2) and Ill have 2 6x9 speakers next to them to give some better sound
