Thanks mate,

I got busy on the weekend and made this.

Nothing fancy will just give me an idea of how my batteries are looking. Haven't worked out a permanent mounting solution yet.

Those light bars look good. I've seen quite a lot of Australian trucks with them on but they don't seem to have caught on in the UK yet. A mate of mine has one on his Challenge Land Rover 90 but he's the only person in the UK I've seen to have one.

Buy light bars from here. www.hanma-auto.com/
I live about as remote as it gets in Aust which makes freight very expensive and I just bought a 100w bar with 10w Cree LEDs which only cost $155au

I have been looking into building my own LED bar in the last couple of days. Pretty much all the bits can be sourced on eBay.

The hardest bit is the housing. Am thinking some aluminium C section with and acrylic cover.

Will make a nice winter project :-D

Mine is an eBay job and it cost $116 AUS for a 24" bar.

Couldn't justify spending much more on it.

Got motivated yesterday, swapped out my Manual VVT transfer case for an Auto one.
First time I'd done something like that and it only took me an hour n a half :)

Took it for a drive last night and the difference is amazing !
