spent an enjoyable afternoon in the sun with some good company

and got the new toys out :woohoo:

2" / 50mm Avo Premium Suspension Lift Kit from Jimnybits

along came a man with a reasonably priced jimny ;)

all I need now are some bigger boots and I'll be all grown up

drove home on setting "0" which is basically shocks switched off - it was like riding in a limo, I never new a jimny could float on the road so comfortably, mind you the roundabouts were a bit scarey as the car wallowed like a drunken hippo climbing up a river bank.

so after a quick pit stop it was onto setting 4 - a little more stable but just as comfy,

will try setting 8 in the morning when I take the missus shopping, or maybe setting 16 (max) as the last thing I want is for her to suddenly take a liking to the Jimny

awesome - feeling the jimny love again

thanks Gaz

;)

couple of hours at a leisurely pace,

some stubbon nuts, but resistance was futile at the hands of Gaz

thankfully the bits had been off a couple of years back, had the fixings been on since new I'm sure it would be a battle, with new nuts and bolts required.

good luck tomorrow,

:woohoo:

lots more playing today, have set the fronts at 9 and left the rears at 7 (max=16)

at 9 the front end dsiplays the best urban cornering/comfort compromise :)

now if only there was someway to attach stepper motors to the knobs to facilitate controlling the settings from inside the car

Voice coils are the most common actuator for active ride shocks - I'm still looking for some that are long enough for a Jimny.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.
