Slightly related, I had a 2” lift fitted with a new bracket for the headlamp leveller, as far as I know it was working OK, but tonight I had four people in my Jimny and the lights were floating quite high.
Is there a procedure for adjusting the level sensor? My bracket had an adjuster on it, so I think it might be in the wrong place and not compensating for load.

I watched this video and I think the connector is exactly the same as mine, so there must be something else wrong here.
I don't know if there is a wiring loom on the left side on stock cars. Mine had a towbar, and the towbar harness seems to have been installed separately. There's a black box with lots of cables behind the rear left arch. It would make sense if they removed the original cable for the broken sensor so they could more easily route the thick towbar harness. I’ll need to open it up again and check. I remember there was an empty white connector there (not the one for the speakers), but it was only a 2-pin connector.
Is it possible that the wires for the headlight leveling sensor come from the left-side harness rather than the right?
Here’s a photo of mine on the left. The black box, which is probably the controller for the towbar harness, is visible at the bottom.

Found the answer in this video:
The left loom is for the bumper electronics only (rear lighting, camera, etc).
So it's still a mistery why this connector (screenshot from another YouTube video), together with the whole branch in the loom is missing from my car:
I took some photos of mine:
It looks like I'm completely missing this branch in the loom for the sensor:

I have just been under mine, and can confirm the wire goes from the sensor over to the R/H side, joins another loom and then up and through the floor.

Thank you. It's clear that something is missing from this cable on my car. I'll try to sort it out soon. Unfortunately, I will probably need a new original cabling since the connector doesn't look standard and there's no way to attach the sensor even if I find the correct wires...

Most of the connectors on the Jimny are pretty much common with Toyota connectors, so its worth looking around.
Send some clear pictures of the required connector and I will have a look
