Those o-rings and several others were included in the gasket set I bought. Something to look out for.

Just an update on my head reconditioning.
Collected yesterday, was pretty flat but had a light skim anyway, seemed the correct thing to do.
Valve ground, heights reset, new valve stem seals and complete clean.
looks pretty good.
Cost was only $600 AUD.
Waiting for gasket kit to arrive, all good. Not far from reassembly.
Just seeking some guidance re use of RTV, I know nothing on head, and obvious where its been used before.
However would one use RTV at example EGR valve, I see a metal gasket, not sure I add extra seelant.
TIA.

Anything with a gasket, metal or otherwise, doesn't need RTV. The only part I can think of that does need it is the timing cover.

Hi Brains Trust,
Gradually putting everything back together.
In need of some more advise if I may.
Head is torqued down as is camsisnd timing chain.
On attempting to refit intake, I discovered the intake and fuelrail is being difficult to refit.
on disassembling I had to pry it away from the head.
Have I missed undong something under the manifold that's inhibiting movement.
thanks in Advance.

There is a stay under the intake like a steel rod or pipe between the block and the intake at approx 45 degrees, with one bolt in each end.
And one easy to miss bolt inbetween the pipes at the flange. But these you must have found to get it out. And the pipes for the EGR or PCV on the aft end and brackets for wires and hoses.

Very clean and nice here, i will not post pictures when I do my cylinder head for comparison :)
