Apparently this head gasket is called a multi layer gasket.
A repairer stated they aren't glued together, but it's separated at each end.
Do you know if there is recommended gasket kit.
I've worked on V8s in the past, but this jimny is a whole new game.

That gasket is normal. It's clamped under lots of force from the head bolts so it doesn't need to be stuck together. I've used cheap gasket kits from ebay a couple of times now and they've been fine. Go with a genuine Suzuki one if you're not happy going cheap.
Re. your earlier comments on the timing I hadn't realised you were taking the engine apart. When putting it back together there are markings on the timing chain that help greatly

The car has an overheating issue, suspect head gasket.
The gasket looks a bit suspect to me.
Discovered needed to remove cams to remove head.
I noticed when removing cam caps the cams moved slightly away from the marks.
Is that anything to be concerned about?

You don't need to worry about any of the timing until you are putting everything back together. That's the only time it matters.
Yes you need to remove the cams. Observe the numbers on the cam caps and make sure they go back in the same place.
As the engine has overheated I'd recommend getting the head skimmed while it's off. It's usually less than £100 and worth it for peace of mind. They will also test it for any cracks, although that's not usually a problem for these engines. The shim buckets on the valves will need to come out, keep track of which bucket goes on which valve and make sure the shims stay with them as the valve clearances are all individually set.
The block is unlikely to have warped. Carefully scrape any lumpy bits off the top of the liners with a Stanley blade then clean the block surface with a gentle abrasive like a scotch brite pad.
