Hi Bertbuckie, yes.. i was worried but guess what, this was advised by the mechanic.
As it is an old car, perhaps he thought that it might not worth the effort/cash to change the entire car exhaust system. He suspected the engine light is due to the catalytic converter...
I've been doing the self-reseting for 2 years now. Hope it is ok... *pray*
