I have spoken to rob about this and he said if your a careful driver then 33's will be fine. on a 4 1/2 + 2 but if you have a slightly heaver right foot then got for a 32. this is why im going to be running a 265/85/16 on a 8 inch rim with the bigest offset i can find to widen the foot print.
Ok, that Jimny in Greece is not a valid comparison to my plans. He is doing far more then needed to fit 33"s. But yes, it is quite a buildup! ...and lots needs to be done.... I'm interested in this "lots".?
And anyone who dare to guess the setup on the pic from the first post in this thread?
the guy in greece is doing a serious job of it yes, but...
if all you are going to do is drive around town slowly fine but what he is doing is going to ensure he Can go off road without tears of frustration every time his 33's shred a component.
