The picture at the top of this thread looks to be a 3 or 4 inch lift, probably spring lift as the bumper still fits ok unless the bumper has been re-fitted and there is a body lift in there somewhere. It also looks to me as if it would be useless off-road as there is no clearance left in the wheel arches. This is based on the guess that the number plate is 3 or 4 inches high and looking at it there is not space to fit the number plate between the tyre and the wheel arch, therefore its suspension would be limited to only a small movement before it touched. OK for road use.

Thank you very much Martin, nice inputs there. When looking at the picture again, i can definitely tell that this Jimny doesn't have the best setup for some flexing in the dirt. I like the stands though, for roaduse. But I'm interested in a vehicle that also work a bit off road.
Still I'm thinking about 3" spring+2" BL, and cutting off a lot of the wheelarches. Well see how it turns out.
Do you think it is on 33"s or might it be 35"s?

Hello, I noticed the picture at the top of this thread. I'm from Iceland and I'm the owner of the Jimny in the top picture.

My jimny works great, onroad and offroad. It has 4cm spring lift and 6 cm body lift. I'm going to post some pictures of it here, but if they do not belong here, just let me know.

Hi HolmarH.
Very nice pictures of a very nice car!!!
Are you willing to share your setup?
This is almost exactly how I will the Jimny to look! Except black.. (Thats why the first picture shows it black..)
By setup, I mean:
Tire size
Rim size (width)
Rim offset
Gearing mods
Axel mods
Suspension height
Bodylift height (if any)
+++ anything you have done to make it like this.
Again, great car. Thanks for sharing your pics.

Tires are 33" 12,5" R15"
Rims are 10" width
The backspace of the rims is about 3,5"
No gearing mods were when i got the car that was the year 2008,but me and my friend fitted Rocklobster in it.

It has a 6 cm body lift
and 4 cm spring lift
original axles - no problems. But today it has Toyota axles, the reason for that is that here in Iceland diff lockers are very expensive. And I used orginal LSD toyota lockers, just to have something, I was hoping that was enough for so light car.
There are just few days since the toyota axles were fitted.
There are some photos on the Icelandic suzuki page, sukka . is

Wow. 10"?? Nice. Thats why it looks so good and fat. But are the fenders the original ones? Except the black plasticstrip of course. Just cutting the original wheelarches?
I thought all of you guys on Iceland had custom wide fenderflares to cover your wheels, but yours look kind of original. Am I wrong?
6cm + 4 cm = app 4 inch.
That means 2" springlift + 2" bodylift should be just enough for 33" (except for the hardcore flexing that is..).
3" spring, and 2" bl should then be perfect!
Shout out if I'm wrong about this.
