It's quite interesting seeing a picture with the floor removed, is it relatively level?, im thinking now as its a van maybe i will put a flat ally treadplate floor in, that would be more practical for me.
The ally would need some stiffening. A flat sheet would be very weak. Depending on your fabrication skills, it may be easier to fit a replacement floor then put the ally over the top.
