Look standard to me. Might explain the spring being banana shaped.

Have 2" castor correcting bushes in the radius arms.

The uprated axles performed flawlessly in this weekends winch challenge. Were stuck in deep mud several times. Situations which along with some driver error caused a standard shaft to break last year. So the new shafts does the job.

Also the Bilstein shocks are excellent. Allows for much faster driving in rough terrain compared with the Rough Country shocks I had before.

I am also interested in these, pro s and cons on keeping with the std spline setup ?

I didnt know bilstein did shocks for the jimny i find my jimny is a bone breaker with rough country 4" shocks and ORA springs..... you say the bilsteins are noticeably softer or....?

There are no cons towards choosing 22 splines over 26 splines. It is not the number of splines that says anything about how strong the shaft is, but the material and hardening process it's been through. Of course if same material and process has been used 26 splines would be better. But not at all necessary.
When was the last time you saw a Jimny shaft break at the diff-end? :) They all break at the CV-joint end or it is the joint itself that breaks. So my advice. Stick with standard 22 splines. This also means that should the shaft break, you can always install the original parts again. And mind you.. anything can break :-)

If you fint the ORA 4" shocks too stiff. You may want to look at something completely different.
I use my Jimny for racing. So the shocks are fairly stiff. Stiffer than the Rough Country N2.0 shocks. But a much smoother ride. Parhaps a bit hard to explain. It just feels right, compared to the RC ones. But you get what you pay for. Not that these Bilstein are that expensive, but still around £90-100 each :)

Bilstein does make shocks for the Jimny, but only standard length. The Bilstein shocks I use are of same valving as one of their universal shocks. But can't remember what vehicle they match. I spend a lot of time researching, to find the correct valving and lengths :) But they're 5100 series.

I understand what your saying about the shocks it's not that the RC shocks are stiff they just don't give a very good ride on or off road IMO maybe to do with the bump/rebound how they are built from factory. I fit bilsteins to Porsches all day long and they are one of the best kits out there to work with. It just whether they would do something to accommodate a 4" lift.......

I was thinking the with the shafts RS does a 4 pin conversion to go with the 26 spline toughening the whole axel up. Hmmm food for thought eh
