i had a more detailed read of my cd manual and it does say to remove the sump on my model i.e. timing chain this would be as you say bolted at the bottom ,

havent come across anything yet that says remove the sump m8t , in the files i have got and they are extensive ones not just a manual , having that said i have not read them all yet , but tomorrow will reveal all , a full head set should tell the story i would think as it is being supplied by suzuki, at moocho spondulicks £
