Suzuki gauges are just weird.

I had a fuel gauge on my GS750ES donkeys ago.

That was the same.
Would read the fuel level fine ignition on.
Ignition off, gauge freezes, and you can fill up and nothing happens.
Disconnect the battery if you like, gauge stays at the last reading.
Ignition on, and it reads the new level.

But- if you removed the tank, and unpluged the sender, the needle dropped straight away, and plugging it back in it stays at zero. :unsure:


I never figured it out.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

That diagram should be useful. its hard to find stuff in the pdf version of the manual especially with no search feature.
