will still need all the brackets fabricating to mount them into the jimny no mean feet getting them in the rite place

pair of D2 axles in Southampton £250, had recent bearings and service before truck failed MOT on rotten chassis

If you really want to go that route, get Nissan Patrol Y61 axles instead. Just as heavy, but with far stronger CV joints.

Both axles are overkill though.
I'd still consider Sammi-axles with Trailgear internals.


its all down to personal choice not everyone will have the same opinion

nothing wrong with wide or heavy axles

they are strong & have lockers front & rear as standard

Ha Ha yes mate disco 2 axles pretty much same as D1 bar the stud pattern however the D2 wheels fit in much closer IE dont stick out so far just would make it better for a jimny conversion as it keeps the width down :) but still Dog Sh!!e ratio :(
