One thing worth mentioning is the diffence between standard tyres and remoulds.
My tyres are remould Muds in standard size (205/70)
Even with my 2" lift they only just fit and I still had to remove the mudflaps !

I have a question, I bought from jimny bits a 2" body lift and wheel spacers and 215 -75 / 15 Bfgoodrich tires, but I was told by my mechanic that the body lift will affect the factory ride quality and the ride will become stiffer on roads, even though the website says other wise, I wanted to know since you have the same lift if the rides stiffens and handling is affected, my jimny is a daily driver and I ocaisionaly take it off-road.

i suppose it will be 2" taller and effect the COG a tiny bit
the ride will feel the same i am sure

After sleeping it over last night, I had some more ideas and some refinements to add. So now those should finally be (almost) finished.

On standard, bit sagging 13 year old suspension there is no rubbing, even at flex but it's quite close. Anti roll bar wasn't removed.

Haven't done a lot off road driving yet, but the tires seem to perform good, no wheel spins on wet dirt tracks, gravel and grass at road pressures. Need to test them more extensively, but so far I'm happy.

Road noise is minimal, all I can hear is a little hum at motorway speeds, but the car is noisy anyway, and I might not be very sensitive to tire noise, so your experience may vary.

They handle excellent on dry tarmac, and surprisingly good on the wet too. The car wasn't pushed into extreme, but they seem be better on the road then budget road tires it came with.

Ride is noticeably softer due to tire size with 26/23 psi front/rear despite stiff sidewalls (tire is LT rated). Chalk test showed even wear of chalk at 22-21/20-19 psi, but it seems a little low for road use so I'm running 25/22 psi. Might drop the pressure down for heavy rain and winter. Lower pressures didn't seem to affect the handling apart from making the ride even more comfortable, and using a bit more fuel. After some more mileage I'll check the wear and maybe adjust the pressure then.

Fuel efficiency didn't suffer much, unless on lower pressures. I'd say it's 5-15% drop compared to 205/70R15 road tires, but it's a rough estimate.

Performance dropped, mostly due to up sizing. Not very noticeably at town speeds, but acceleration from 50 to 70mph in 5th gear takes ages. Cannot compare to road tires, cause I didn't drive on motorways while having them on the car. Braking seems to be unaffected.

Conclusion: not really MT tire, more like aggressive AT, grippy, quiet and comfortable. Winter performance might be sketchy due to lack of siping, time will tell. I'm having high hopes for them to make a decent all season tire cause rubber compound is pretty soft, but it's too early to draw such conclusions yet.

Hi. Everything from my previous post still stands.
After 2000 miles there is minimal wear and no difference in handling or noise (probably 'yet' ).
Global warming prevented me from driving on snow, so I can't comment on winter performance. Some German reviewers rate them 'good' for winter use but I suppose it depends on driving style.
I drive like an old lady, so might have not noticed any issues that occur if you thrash the car around. Keithy on here commented in another thread, that they slip/spin on wet tarmac but he has bigger engine and a turbo (I think), so, there you go
Overall I'm happy with these tyres. They are a good buy at reasonable price and I would recommend them.
Oh, and they fit the spare carrier without problems.

Don't do it. I used to be quite happy with mine until I got some proper rubber. I have bfgs and love them.

Im on standard and 95% tarmac use. Plus I dont think my budget will stretch to 500 notes for 4 new corners.
